Grout mixed pile technique employs low speed soil mixing with cement via mechanical means with low to medium pressure cement injected through the specially designed auger nozzle for mixing with surrounding soft soils. This method is suitable in area where ground heaving is not allowed or next to sensitive structures.
Jet grouting is a soil improvement technique that employs high-speed fluid jets to erode the soft soils. The resulting cavity is then filled with cement grout to form a composite soil/grout material that enhances the overall properties of the soils.
Both types of grouting methods are normally used for soil improvement in deep excavation with soft subsoil conditions.
